This is from January's Sector 13 installment that I titled oh so poetically, A Drift Of Sand.
A recurring theme with me is the encounter with the unknown in lonely places. I grew up in one of those places. So I know what I'm talking about when I say that being alone at night in an isolated spot can be scary as hell. It's really easy to be spooked by your own imagination.
Or... was it just imagination?
